To relish the long miles, the GS:CCD's midsole is taller than its GL:PDX and GL:SVT cousins. But the energetic and durable 100% HTPU superfoam remains the same for the carrier base layer. Directly under your soles, the proprietary foam of the drop-in core layer adds plush responsiveness. Like other Speedland models, this core is removable to add an optional Carbitex GearFlex carbon fiber plate (sold separately), if desired.

The premium upper is made of breathable spacer mesh to keep your feet cool and dry, with strategic high-tenacity fiber for durability. Its PerformFit Wrap is activated by the BOA Fit System's two multi-directional Li2 dials. These advanced dials allow you to make micro-adjustments tighter and looser as the Wrap overlays secure all the key areas of your feet. Connecting you to the trail, the Michelin Fiber Lite outsole features 4.5 mm lugs for an ideal balance of sticky traction and smoother runnability.
